Understanding the Accusative Case in Ukrainian
The accusative case is one of the cases used in the Ukrainian language to show the direct object of an action. This means it tells us who or what is receiving the action of the verb.
When to Use the Accusative Case
Important Points

In Ukrainian, nouns, pronouns, and adjectives change their endings in the accusative case. This change depends on the gender and number of the noun.
Important Points
- Masculine inanimate nouns usually do not change.
- Masculine animate nouns often take the ending '-а' or '-я'.
- Feminine nouns usually change their ending to '-у' or '-ю'.
- Neuter nouns typically do not change.
- Plural nouns often take the ending '-и' or '-і'.
